Recommendations
If you want to ship your rolls, I recommend sending them as a tracked letterbox parcel. PostNL can sometimes lose (part of) your shipment, or envelopes can open accidentally. You won’t be able to receive compensation from them if it happens with a “regular” mail item, which is not even that much cheaper anymore these days (except when you only send in 1 film). Some tips:
– use a padded (bubble) envelope or box,
– write your order number on a slip of paper and put it in with the films,
– when sending a letterbox parcel, don’t put your film inside its plastic canister as it won’t fit through the mail slot and
– make sure to use some tape to seal the carrier 🙂
In the Dutch mail system the sender is always responsible for their shipment, so I can’t help you if your film gets lost without a tracking code except for complaining to the postal service that they screwed up again.
