Description
A 3D-printed replacement Femobox. I picked up a Laborator 1200 (or to be more precise, an Optocom) with CLS501 color head, but it only came with a 35mm Femobox. Second-hand these things go for upwards of 200 euros, so I thought, why not design a replacement? It’s quite a big print, so it’ll only fit regular packages.
This Femobox contains a diffuser on both ends, making it a Femobox 450N. The diffusers are made out of high-quality opal acrylic cut to size by yours truly. The box’s outer halves are printed in black PETG, with the light funnel being white PETG. The outer halves are mated via pressfit and secured using magnets.
Currently I only have the 450N designed, but if you want another size shoot me a message. It’s not too hard to modify the design as it’s all OpenSCAD!
